Duplicates

This screen allows you to see all of the duplicate files that were on your storage device when the Repository was last synchronized.

To switch to this view, select the Duplicates option from the drop-down list located at the top-right portion of the Repository screen:

This is one screen where the power of repositories really shines.

Because Dirk is processing its own internal snapshot of your storage device, and NOT the storage device itself, it does not have to perform an expensive and time-consuming re-scan of your device when you want to see files that might be duplicated. You can open and close the repository at-will, without having to worry about losing information about the information contained within it.
